Compact flow sensors with stainless steel housing
ifm optimized the SI5 flow sensors series to monitor flow rate in both liquids and gases in pipes. With a broad range of process adapters, the SI5 series can be adapted for nearly all industrial applications. Common applications include water management, CIP skids in food and beverage production, and cooling circuits in the stell, automotive, or glassmaking industries.
Due to a robust, stainless steel housing, the SI flow sensor series provides high reliability in the harshest of operating conditions. Simply adjust flow range and switch points using a pushbutton display on the unit. A multicolor LED display clearly indicates the nominal flow range and the switch point. For additional security, the SI series has electronic locking capabilities to prevent unintentional adjustments to the settings, and offers an option to restore the unit to the factory settings if needed.
