AS-Interface I/O modules

The decentralised AS-Interface I/O modules connect binary and analogue sensors and actuators to the gateway or PLC via AS-Interface. For field applications, modules with quick or screw mounting technology are available. Connection of the two-wire flat cable by means of insulation displacement technology ensures reverse polarity protection. Sensors and actuators are connected via proven, robust connectors. AS-i ProcessLine modules have been specifically developed for use in wet areas in the food and beverage industry. With a full stainless steel housing and protection rating IP 69K, the units are built to meet the hygienic requirements of high-pressure cleaning cycles. AS-i SmartLine modules are designed for use in control cabinets. Thanks to their slim, compact design, they also fit into control panels. AS-i PCBs are offered for use in small housings, control cabinets and panels. The ifm product range features modules with digital and analogue inputs and outputs.
