Limit plungers for inductive sensors
Where moving machine parts are intentionally driven against limit stops or very accurate switch points are required, inductive sensors are used in combination with mechanical plungers. Thanks to their robust design, limit plungers reliably protect sensors in the presence of a mechanical stop, even in case of high actuating forces. Another advantage is that the sensor can be replaced without removing the limit plunger and without having to realign the sensor.
