Mounting sets for rectangular types

The easy-to-use mounting sets consist of a clamp, a mounting element for the sensor and a bolt with nut. The clamp, which is fastened by only one screw, keeps the mounting element with the sensor safely in position and guarantees free movement in all directions.

The clamp can be mounted in three different ways: rod mounting, free-standing mounting and fitting onto aluminium extrusions which are common in industry.

For rod mounting a clamp is simply fixed on an existing rod on the machine. The clamp on the rod and the mounting element for the sensor can be rotated. So any sensor position can be reached simply and quickly. Clamps are available for the three rod diameters 10/12/14 mm. Suitable rods in straight or angled design are also offered.

The mounting set for free-standing mounting includes an additional screw, which is mounted in a hole or thread in the surface. The sensor can be positioned as desired. The clamp on the screw head and the mounting element of the sensor can be rotated in all directions.

The mounting set includes a cube for mounting on standard aluminium profiles. The cube uses the slot in the profile, is fastened in it using a slide nut and can be connected to any clamp from ifm.
