In order to reduce water consumption, you need to know your current consumption. Ifm uses sensing principles such as magnetic-inductive or ultrasonic flow meters to detect three types of data at once: volumetric flow quantity, total quantity, and temperature. These sensors are frequently used in cooling circuits for the steel, the automotive, and glassmaking industries. In water management and industrial applications, the sensors are used for water consumption measurement. Peak consumption, current consumption, or accumulated consumption can be accessed and adjusted via programmable switch and alarm level settings through the touch button interface. These can also be used in drinking water supply applications.
