Apps

App are used for parameter setting and set-up of IO-Link sensors, 1D/2D code readers, 3D cameras and RFID read/write heads. ifm also offers apps for logging and saving process data of AS-i IO-Link modules and for managing AS-i configurations. The single user licence for CODESYS is already included. The apps are loaded into the AS-i gateways. They establish the connection between AS-i and common fieldbus systems such as EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS, PROFINET or EtherCAT. They control the data exchange to the sensor/actuator level and communicate rapidly with the superior control level.
