Type 586 Pressure Retaining Valve
The Type 586 delivers several unique features and benefits to the customer. The innovative threaded bonnet design eliminates the need for metallic body bolts and therefore, the risk of corrosion or need for retorquing. By converting the wetted pressure control mechanism into a self-contained cartridge, the Georg Fischer engineering team created the most flexible PRV on the market . This design feature simplifies maintenance and allows for a valve to utilized as either a pressure reducing or retaining valve.
